Review
To be honest, I never quite connected with it. Sure, the story’s intriguing in its exploration of who Iceman is beyond the familiar confines of the X-Men, the Champions, and the Defenders, but the character still feels somewhat underdeveloped. His lore just isn’t all that compelling—at least not yet. It’s the kind of depth that only time and care can truly nurture.
That said, there are a few moments that stand out—like the clever nods to his similarities with the Silver Surfer, and the discussion of the multiverse. Those were highlights, no doubt.
Still, I can’t say it’s a comic I’d recommend or return to anytime soon.
