PEKA
PEKA, whose real name is Paul Basset, is a 25-year-old rapper from Meaux, France. He discovered a passion for rap at a very young age and quickly realized that his place was in the music industry.
In 2022, after seven years of collective work with his group LEGA, he decided to launch his solo career to share his identity, vision of the world, and thoughts.
Authentic and introspective, PEKA places great importance on expressing his life and thoughts without filters, allowing everyone to identify and relate to his music. Additionally, the work he has put into his writing in recent years highlights the poetic nature of his work.
TPLM Vol.1
Less than five months after his last project, PEKA is back with his new EP « TPLM Vol.1 ». This new release, more forward-thinking than the previous one, brings a renewal to the artist while remaining true to his identity, melancholic and poetic, both in substance and form.
Throughout the project, the artist presents his new philosophy that resonates: « It’s all about the music« . Through these five new tracks, he confirms his determination and willingness to succeed in music.
Visually, PEKA illustrates this project with the music video for the track « TPLM, » the eponymous track of the EP. Through this video, the artist offers another insight into his words and highlights his doubts regarding success.
