LA NIÑA – FURÈSTA

I didn’t know this artist before, and I discovered her mainly because several pages were recommending her. I was immediately intrigued — it’s a truly unique musicality. There’s a huge mix of influences, yet it all comes together in a cohesive way, where these different inspirations blend harmoniously.

Also, even though I don’t necessarily understand all the lyrics, through the music videos and the snippets of phrases I do catch, you can feel a strong, engaged lyrical identity.

I also find that each track has its own energy and vibe, and it really takes you on a journey. It’s actually the first Neapolitan-language project I’ve listened to from beginning to end — and it really hooked me.

While listening, I sometimes had different interpretations: at times, it felt like a track heavily influenced by Japanese sounds, other times by Native American music — all with a strong Southern European flavor. Still, the predominant vibe is the influence of Naples, which you can hear/see in both the visuals and the vocal style.

I definitely recommend taking the time to listen to this project.
