Review
Everything is accelerating, and the violence is becoming very real. The portrayal of war is well-executed—once the conflict begins, Babylon loses his innocence and learns to kill. It’s a powerful transformation that adds real weight to the narrative.
The pacing is strong, and the writing remains sharp, keeping the tension high throughout.
Also, I loved the one-shot detailing each country and its leader—it adds so much depth to the worldbuilding!
