Review

And just like that, this legendary run from 1964 to 1998 comes to an end—an epic journey filled with unforgettable classics and iconic volumes. Revisiting some of these villains and storylines through cameos and surprise appearances, especially in this volume and the previous one, was a real treat.

The narrative arcs in this final stretch had immense potential, brimming with bold ideas and high stakes. However, the execution felt somewhat sluggish, and at times, the storytelling became a bit muddled, making for a less fluid read.

The artwork was compelling, and the spin-offs brought intriguing new angles to the mythos. The villains, in particular, were well-utilized, their schemes driving the story forward in meaningful ways.

That said, I was hoping for a grand, explosive finale to truly cap off this long-running saga—something to leave an indelible mark. Sadly, that moment never quite arrived.

Still, I’m excited for the upcoming soft reboot—and even more thrilled to dive into the next era of Daredevil!
