Review
Pretty solid volume — I really enjoyed it.
The reading experience is smooth, and I especially liked how the main character is being developed on his own, stepping out of Batman’s shadow and trying to build his own path. That internal conflict, fighting to detach from the past, is really compelling.
At the same time, it’s interesting (and a bit ironic) to see that he slowly starts to mirror some of the same patterns as his mentor. It adds a layer of depth to his growth.
Visually, the art fits the tone really well — overall, I’m definitely hooked and looking forward to continuing this series.
