Review

Solid volume and overall event — I really liked the core idea of a Daredevil who’s completely lost control and ends up committing his first murder.
That descent into darkness gives the story a much-needed weight and stakes, and it fits the character in a twisted yet believable way.

That being said, while the lore and concept are compelling, I did feel there were some inconsistencies, especially with how The Beast is defeated — it felt a bit too sudden and not fully earned. The pacing at times made some key moments feel rushed or unexplained.

I’m genuinely curious to see how they’re going to redeem Daredevil after the events of Shadowland. We get a glimpse in Reborn, but honestly, if that’s the full direction they’re going for, I might be slightly disappointed. I’d prefer something with more depth or consequence.

As for the cameos and side characters — there are a lot of parallel storylines, but they remain coherent overall. I appreciated most of the supporting cast, even if I wasn’t the biggest fan of young Power Man. That’s more of a personal taste thing, though.
