Review
What an incredible volume — Blue Lock keeps raising the bar with every chapter.
The transition to full 11-vs-11 matches adds a whole new layer of intensity and tactics. It finally feels like we’re watching a real football game, and the way the teams are structured makes each player’s role more meaningful.
The first half of the match was especially well-balanced, with both sides constantly adapting and pushing each other’s limits. The pacing was sharp, with just enough character insight and action to stay engaging throughout.
One of the standout surprises for me was Blue Lock’s goalkeeper.
He really stole the spotlight — I didn’t expect a keeper to shine this much, but his performance was a game-changer. I truly hope he stays in the spotlight, because his potential feels huge.
This volume proves again that Blue Lock isn’t just about strikers — it’s about every position evolving, and every character finding their place in the system. I can’t wait to see how the second half unfolds.
