I didn’t enjoy this volume as much as the previous ones. Sure, the matchup itself has potential and brings some intensity, but I felt like it’s still missing that clear driving thread—the red line that pushes Isagi and the others to evolve on a deeper level.

That said, I’m pretty confident that the next volume will deliver on that front. You can feel it’s building up to something more impactful, especially in terms of character development.

This volume does shine a bit more light on Bachira, which was cool, but overall it didn’t hit as hard as the ones before. Still a good read, just not quite at the same level.
