As the second-to-last volume in the series, you can definitely feel the tension hitting its peak. Every move, every decision—it all carries weight now.
Archibald? He infuriates me, but I have to admit—he’s the perfect villain. Cold, calculating, and always one step ahead. You hate him, but you respect the threat he brings.
The conflict between Death and War is absolutely fascinating, especially with the reveal of their past battle. That flashback was a highlight, and now I’m hyped to see how it all comes full circle.
All the cards are on the table now—and it’s shaping up to be one hell of a final showdown.
