I had already watched a few episodes and was always curious about the massive success of the anime and manga. Being a huge fan of the pirate world, I finally decided to dive into the story myself—and honestly, for a first volume, you can clearly see the direction it’s heading. It’s got that classic shonen vibe that’s easy to get into.
I really appreciated the humor too—it feels like it’s going to be a big part of the series without taking away from the epic side of things.
It’s still hard to fully judge from just one volume, but it definitely hooked me, and there’s no doubt I’ll be continuing the journey from here!
