Personal Highlights

Damn, January felt like a marathon. But if there’s one thing that kept me going, it was the music—bold, experimental, and packed with fresh energy.

I kicked off the year obsessing over the collaborative project between Van Zee and FRANKIEONTHEGUITAR (you can check out my review here), and from there, it was a deep dive into a sea of experimental albums and singles. Genre-bending, boundary-pushing—innovation was the real MVP of my January playlist.

This month also felt like a time machine back to 2015, as I’m working on an article digging into that era. Consider this a little spoiler for my upcoming piece—you’ll definitely feel that throwback energy in this month’s playlist.
