Review
This volume was one I had been eagerly anticipating for quite some time. Admittedly, I had struggled to stay engaged with the story up to this point, but this installment completely reignited my interest—and for several reasons.
First and foremost, the balance between Matt Murdock’s personal life and his role as Daredevil is masterfully restored, with the two seamlessly intertwining. The authors also demonstrate tremendous respect for the character by reintroducing figures from issues dating back to the 1960s and 70s. These nods to classic storylines, alongside references to events from those early adventures, add a rich sense of continuity that long-time readers will deeply appreciate.
For those who have been reading the Daredevil collections from the beginning, this volume is bound to be an absolute delight.
To conclude, the artwork is equally impressive. It captures the thrill of Daredevil’s acrobatics and his effortless navigation through New York City’s iconic skyscrapers, making every page a visual joy to experience.
