Feels like it’s always the same story—authors fumbling in the dark, mixing things up, losing their way. The plot just doesn’t hook me the way earlier volumes did.
But there are flashes, moments that hit hard. Especially those first two issues—tight plot, razor-sharp. And that experimental art in Issue #316? Something else entirely.
For now, I’ve only been through the main issues in the series. Next, I’ll dive into The Man Without Fear by Frank Miller, right after this volume.
