Review

The beginning was a bit slow, mainly because of the frequent changes in writers. But the moment Ann Nocenti fully took over the run, things really started to pick up, building momentum like a steady crescendo. I loved the themes she tackled—brilliantly executed explorations of the media, fear of illness, the looming dread of nuclear war, and more.

Matt’s return to practicing law was also a great touch, adding depth to his character. And the introduction of new villains like Bullet and Bushwacker was fantastic—they’re fascinating adversaries that fit perfectly into Daredevil’s rogue gallery.

The art felt like it was trying to find its footing throughout the volume, but by the end, it really hit its stride and found the right direction. (P.S. I loved the punk-inspired vibe.)
