Review

Like the previous volume, this run by Frank Miller is exceptional and hands down the best since I started reading the series. In this volume specifically, I’m hooked on how the story unfolds, with the central conflict against Kingpin playing out like a game of chess, each move calculated, every player trying to outmaneuver the other. Every issue feels purposeful, compelling, and keeps you turning the pages. And that ending—the sheer violence, the way it wraps up—it’s breathtaking, leaving you hungry for the next volume.

As for the art, it’s extraordinary. I’d even say it surpasses the last volume, with a cinematic style that pulls you right into the story. It’s almost like you’re watching it all unfold on the big screen.
